I care, I can - Working carers information event

This event is open to working carers, carers who are looking to get back in to work, volunteering or training, and also to organisations that are already carer friendly, or who are looking to become carer friendly. The key note speaker is from Employers for Carers, and there will be a marketplace of third sector organisations who offer services for carers in the local area. The event is a chance for organisations to get advice about how to become carer friendly, and how to support its staff and managers to support carers in their workforce. Carers that attend can find out more about services available to them locally. Afternoon tea will be served. The event will start at 1.30 with tea and coffee, key note speaker at 2pm, afternoon tea served at 3pm, close at 6.30pm (the event is looking to reach and help as many carers/organisations as possible which is why we've extended it for anyone who cannot attend during normal working hours)
