Celebration Lunch

Celebration Lunch at Sunderland College's fabulous new City Bistro at City Campus (opposite Park Lane Interchange). Thirty-five places are available for 12 noon lunch and a further thirty-five for a later lunch at 1.30pm. Choose one main and one dessert from the set menu below for only £5. Carer's coffee morning

Torfaen Social Services will be holding a coffee morning at Talygarn, County Hospital, Griffithstown, Pontypool, NP44 5YA in the Blue Room. The event is for carers and their families and will be held on Thursday, 15th June, from 10.30am until 12pm. The focus of the coffee morning will be to meet other local carers and gain useful information including 'What is a carer's assessment?' and 'Why should I have one?'

During Carers Week, 12-18 June, John Lewis has invited local care company SuperCarers to run a series of drop-in advice sessions for anyone thinking about care for an elderly loved one. The event at Peter Jones Sloane Square is taking place between 12 noon - 3pm, with free 20-minute drop-in advice sessions taking place every hour on the hour. SuperCarers helps families to find trusted carers living in their local area. SuperCarers was founded by brothers Adam and Daniel Pike after watching their mother struggle to cope with managing their grandma’s care. Their mission is to help older people to live happily and safely in their own home for as long as they wish.
