HFH Healthcare pledges to support Carers Week 2017. We pledge to listen to, support and develop our Carers and provide them with the clinical training required to deliver effective and high quality care to our patients.

We pledge to support families with someone who has social and communication difficulties (autism or otherwise) who need advice and understanding and people who care.

All staff here go the extra mile for their service users and families no task is ever too much for them handle working with the real hero's the unpaid carers who look after family and friends.

Autism Together is a multi award-winning charity and service provider supporting over 400 people on the autism spectrum. Founded in Wirral in 1968 by a group of concerned parents, we now employ over a thousand staff and have operations in North Wales, Merseyside and Cheshire. We offer specialist services for families and children, residential care, respite care and supported living. We have a garden centre, a park, a farm, a canal boat, a rock-rap band and a choir. Our service users can learn diverse skills in activities such as swimming, cycling, trampolining, rock climbing, painting, sculpting and much more. We act as a voice for people on the autism spectrum in the North West and are campaigning for Liverpool to be the UK's leading autism-friendly city and for 'mate crime' (the bullying and manipulation of vulnerable people) to be recognised in law.

We pledge to offer free training for local unpaid carers as part of our induction training programme.

We pledge to support carers in our network of clients, and carers in the community. We will offer FREE training at our office premises for those who wish to learn more about how to support their loved ones by the way of first aid, moving and handling and other guidance.

As a tutor I pledge to support all young carers to succeed within their studies and help them in their journey towards achieving their dream career. I also pledge to raise awareness of Carers week within my tutorials. I am running a 5K charity fun run this year in aid of Carers UK and therefore I pledge to raise at least £100 to this amazing cause.

A drop in complementary therapy taster session at our Chester office. 10.30am-1.00pm Strawberry cream tea for each carer. Also an opportunity to come and learn more about the services and support that we can offer unpaid carers.

We will recognise caring responsibilities and ensure those we work with have space to discuss their needs and make it easy for them to raise concerns. We will promote carers rights as part of our business as usual. We will listen and learn from carers we meet as part of our work and bring this learning into our practice.

We pledge to make sure that all of our carers are aware that the office is always available to them. Whether this be for help and advice within their work or whether we be a shoulder to lean on in times of need outside of work. The kettle is always boiling and the door is always open.
