We are able to provide legal support to carers at a difficult time in their lives.

Talk to carers about what help and support they need and feed this into plans for the local support services for carers.

We pledge an ongoing commitment to bring together carers who are affected by both mental health and substance misuse problems in the family, in order to break down isolation and encourage social inclusion.

Involve all our patients and staff to make them more aware of carers and the activites and assistance available to them.

Ask carers what would make their community Carer Friendly and then share the information with local decision-makers.

To raise awareness of the support that libraries offer to carers.

We are going to have a 'Caring for Carers' event day at the hospital for carers who are linked to forensic mental health services in the Trust.

To support carers through informal meetings, social events, and signposting. We will hold a Carers Coffee morning on Wednesday 10th June in support of Carers Week.

We pledge to have as many conversations as possible during Carers Week with members of the public to raise the profile of carers in Cornwall.

We pledge to support unpaid adult carers who live or work in Gateshead. For Carers Week 2015 we will provide a range of fun and informative events to help raise awareness of carers and provide support to adult carers.
