We pledge to make caring for someone a rewarding and fulfilling career, whilst recognising the value of our CAREGivers.

We will be getting out and about in the local community to meet up with carers old and new!

The partnership will coordinate and promote the opportunities, activities and support available for unpaid family carers in Lincolnshire.

To provide a Young Carers event.

Mon 8th June - Carer Support Coffee Break, Breakfast Morning, Carers Centre, Smethwick

Tues 9th June - Carer Support Cafe, Sainsburys Oldbury

Tues 9th June - Carer Support Coffee Break, Cake Sale and afternoon tea, Blackheath

Wed 10th June -  Carer Support Coffee Break,Cake Sale and cream teas, Library, Tipton

Thurs 11th June - Carers Craft Events Day and Lunch, West Bromwich

Fri 12th June - Information and Advice Event, Sainsburys, Oldbury

 

I will run a health walk for carers during Carers Week.

To keep informing other parents / carers that there is help and support out there.

Raise the voice of unheard Parent/Carers and young carers of children and young people living with Sickle cell disorders.

To highlight the fantastic work carers do.

We pledge to raise awareness amongst the college community of the challenges carers face every day. We will provide information, guidance and support to students with caring responsibilities at key transition points and throughout the student journey. We will celebrate carers by promoting Carers Week!
