We pledge to provide training, advice and support to carers to enable them to care for their loved ones.

We pledge to support all our carers with the work they provide on a daily basis by providing them with all the support and knowledge they need.

Celebrate Carers Week 15 June 11:00 – 13:30 Sainsbury’s Chiswick, 31 Essex Place, London W4 5UT This is an held by Hounslow Council and NHS Hounslow CCG. The Mayor of Hounslow is expected to attend. The day includes a presentation from carers and supporting organisations, and a buffet lunch. Parking is free on site at Sainsbury’s. We have a detailed webpage outlining the information and support available to student carers both through our university and in the local area. Our pledge is to increase awareness of the support available to our student carers through on-campus promotion and sharing information with our local communities.

Starts 11am. Tickets £3.00 with refreshments included. Tickets available at the door, from Fife Carers Centre or from Choir members. The choir is made up of carers who take time out of their busy schedule and meet once a week to enjoy singing together.

To have clear policies in place to support students and staff with caring responsibilities. To encourage positive discussions about caring, ageing and disability that benefit the University community and beyond.
