Carers Week is an annual awareness campaign that raises the profile of carers and the role of caring. We work with the media to raise the profile of carers and the role of caring. In the past Carers Week has been really successful at generating media interest through the publication of reports and the support of high profile celebrities such as the Prime Minister’s wife Samantha Cameron and Fiona Phillips.
This year the campaign’s theme is Prepared to Care? We will be launching the campaign with the findings of a survey of carers about their experiences of caring. If you are looking for a case study or want to feature Carers Week in your publication or show then please get in touch.
If you are a journalist and would like to know more about the campaign or planning to write a feature then please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 020 7378 4955.
Carers Week has a database of carers willing to share their experiences and spokespeople available to talk about caring. We are always looking for carers to talk to about their experiences and the impact that caring has had on their lives.
