Coffee Morning

Cambridgeshire Carers Support Service will be holding a coffee morning for relatives and friends of people with mental ill health on Friday 15th June between 11 am-1pm at the Pilgrim Hall, United Reform Church, High St. St Neots. If you are a carer of a loved one with a mental health condition please come along for an informal chat and a cuppa.

Carers Walk and Talk

Free Walk and Talk event for carers, but open to all. Meet opposite the main Okehampton Post Office at 10:20 am ready for 10:30 walk around Simmons Park. Grade 1 walk of 30 minutes, also a Grade 2 walk available starting at the same time, which takes 40 minutes. Event is run in conjunction with Walking for Health. Come and enjoy a leisurely walk and meet some new friends. No booking is required.

Carer's Open Day

This is an informal event in The Garden Room at Pemberton Surgery for carer's. We will offer help and advice on all services open to them or just a chat and a coffee. The event will start at 10am and run until 3pm with a light lunch and refreshments. We will have a representative from the Carer's Centre on site to answer any questions and give plenty of advice.

Carers Digital Resources

The Carers Centre for Brighton & Hove is going to work in partnership with Brighton & Hove Bus & Coach Company and the local authority to promote the use of the Carers UK's Digital Resources. A double decker bus will be parked at Churchill Square between 10:30am and 2pm on Friday, 15th June 2018 to demonstrate and show carers how to use the Digital Resources on their phones, tablets or PC.

Carers Information Stand

Representatives from Reigate & Banstead Adult Social Care Team, The Community Mental Health Recovery Service and Action for Carers Surrey will be holding an information stand from 10am until 3pm at the Bellfry Shopping Centre in Redhill. Feel free to come by, have a chat, and gather the latest information from these services.

Information display boards outside each of the wards to promote carers week from Monday 11th until Sunday 17th inclusive. Carer champions will be available to speak with carers with regards to any information they may require.

Carers tea and pamper afternoon

Please book your free place. The event will run from 1:30-3:30pm at the Epsom Methodist Church. There will be an afternoon tea with a mindfulness activity plus there will be 2 therapists offering head/hand massages throughout the afternoon. The event is for adult carers in Surrey.

Coffee Morning and Cake Sale Monday 11th June 11am - 2pm Thursday 15th June 11am-2pm A full week of fun activities in conjunction with Carers WEEK and celebrating 10years if supporting families affected by addiction across and not limited to the Sunderland areas.
