Picnic in the Park

You and your family are invited to join some of our Teams from NSFT for Picnic in the Park at 12 noon at the Bandstand in The Walks in Kings Lynn. West Norfolk Please bring your own picnic and blanket. Information will be available from PALS, Recovery College, Carers Trust, Carers Matter and West Norfolk Carers. Staff who run the Carers Cafe at The Furmoy will join us and The Participation Team will be present with details of how carers can be involved in improving services.

Launch of Bradgate Mental Health Unit's new-look Family Room

The room will be unveiled at 3pm and visitors will be welcome to drop in throughout the rest of the afternoon Opening of newly refurbished, redectorated and equipped Family Room at the Bradgate mental health unit, which provides inpatient care for adults who are acutely ill. Funded through a programme called Listening into Action, the plans for the refurbishment of the room has been co-designed with carers and other family members, members of staff and volunteers. Colourful child-friendly murals created by professional artist have replaced bare walls, new furnishings have been added, along with toys and games. The work has created a warm, comfortable, safe and private space where patients can meet with their loved ones away from the ward.

Garden and Cafe Open Day

We are hosting a garden and Cafe open day to raise funds for Alzheimer's cupcake day. 2-4pm. We are also holding a bake off competition at a suggested donation of £2 to enter. The winner will win a charm bracelet of all baking goods. We will also be holding a raffle £1 a strip. All money raised will go to the Alzheimer's society.
