Carers Support Day

Carers Support Day at the Forum, Norwich, 10am-4pm Do you care for a family member or friend? Do you help or support them in their daily life? You may play a vital role in caring for someone but not think of yourself as a carer. On Friday 14 June we are holding a Carers Support Day at the Forum to celebrate the huge contributions you play in people’s lives. We want carers of all ages to come together as a community, learn about the support available to them and try new activities. We will be filling the Forum with organisations, groups and networks from across Norfolk that can help with the difficulties, stresses and challenges of caring. There is support available to help you personally, emotionally and physically. Please join us at any time throughout the day to find out more.

Have you added your event for Carers Week?

You can now register your event on the Carers Week map for 2019. Last year there were more than 1,200 events added to our Carers Week Map. This year, Carers Week is in its 25th year and so we hope to see many more amazing events and activities for carers registered on our website!

No matter how big or small your event is, your activity will make a difference to carers in your local area.  Your event could be an information stand in your local hospital or it could be the launch of a new charter for carers in your workplace, or even a coffee morning with the local carers' association. Every activity counts!

The map only shows the events that have been registered on the Carers Week website, and all the regions where these registered events are due to take place.

If you were unable to find your area or any events listed, it may be that local organisations are busy planning their activities but they have not yet added them to our website.
