Come to our 2 hour workshop to learn some assertiveness skills and techniques to boost your self-confidence. This will help you to deal with difficult situations better with family, friends and professionals. This workshop runs from 10am - 12pm. Attendance must be booked in advance. Mon 10th June Telecare Talk - 13.30 -15.00 Telecare demonstration and presentation by Outreach Worker and the nurse will present on the Telehealth aspect of our service. Tue 11th June Carer Health and Wellbeing Sessions – throughout the day - booking required Wed 12th June An introduction to Tai Chi – 10:30 – 11:30 Drop-In Lunch for Working Carers - 12:00 - 14:30 We are launching this new monthly initiative to raise awareness of our services and what support is available to working carers. Thu 13th June Carers Outing to Portavadie – all day - booking required Centre Closed Friday 14th June Promotion of Dochas Carer Centre Services and Adult Carers Rights at the Mid Argyll Hospital – reception area 10:00 – 15:00 Two of the Dochas Carer Centre Team will be available to answer any queries you may have regarding your caring role.

The event will be held for all staff working in West Suffolk House including all departments: CCG, Social Care, Housing, Local Council etc. Our partners Suffolk Family Carers will help provide information and advice to staff members over the lunchtime period - 12.00 - 14.00

Shared Reading during carers week– a chance to relax and enjoy the power of words with others. A chance to listen, read and reflect, to have a chat and give yourself a break from caring. 2pm to 3.30pm.
