Wendy Chamberlain MP announced as Liberal Democrats Parliamentary Champion for Carers Week 2023
We are delighted to announce that Wendy Chamberlain MP, the Member of Parliament for North East Fife has agreed to be the Liberal Democrats Parliamentary Champion for Carers Week 2023.
Responding to the announcement, Wendy Chamberlain MP said:
“Unpaid carers are the backbone of our society, and I am delighted to be championing them this Carers Week. Caring is a universal experience – we will all care or be cared for in our lives. Our policies must reflect that, and I am thrilled to be working with Carers UK to put unpaid carers front and centre.”
