We are delighted to announce that Wendy Chamberlain MP, the Lib Dem Member of Parliament for North East Fife has agreed to be a Parliamentary Champion for Carers Week 2025.
Responding to the announcement, Wendy Chamberlain MP said:
“I’m honoured to be one of Carers UK’s Parliamentary Champion for Carers Week 2025. It is clear that so much work needs to be done to ensure that carers receive the support and recognition they rightfully deserve.
“We know that unpaid carers face a greater risk of poverty, social isolation, and health. I will continue to advocate for unpaid carers and raise awareness about the difficulties they face.”
